The design for the Daewoo Lanos vehicle should be ascribed to Giorgetto Giugiaro. This replica was a subcompact car designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and created by Daewoo Motors from 1997 to 2005. Over the years, three body styles car of the Lanos were available: a two-door hatchback, a four-door hatchback and a sedan. All three of the models were prepared with GM Family 1 D-TEC engines rating from 1.5 L (1549cc) SOHC to 1.6 L (1598cc) DOHC. Drivers in the UK can also obtain their hands on car E-TEC models 1.4 (1349cc) and 1.6 (1598cc). The three different models are chased the standard S, SE, SX, with the SX being the top of the range car. The suspension of the Lanos car is established upon that of a Vauxhall/Opel Astra Mk2 GTE.
The Lanos name was eventually phased out after the 2002 model year. Don't be bemused; the car was still being complete only under a different moniker. State side, Daewoo's functioning’s in North America were wound up in 2002, and thus the Lanos vehicle was discontinued due to poor sales. Drivers in North America may differentiate though the Aveo, which is in reality the same car only rebadged. It made this car return for the 2004 model year. In actuality there is not much worth observing about this vehicle exclude a little bit about the taillights of the car. The 2001 and 2002 models have a strange feature in that their backlights are asymmetric with the repeal light on the left and fog light on the right side. Given that this is emphasizing of the vehicle it is not hard to understand why it is not the fashionable among car buyers. Granted this model is fairly widespread as a fleet model and can be found as a charge vehicle as the smallest and cheapest choice available.
