2013’s top five scores gaining American made cars

DuBois index released the list of made in America cars that gained the top 5 positions out of total 72 ranking positions. DuBois new index were based on the following major factors:

  • Profit Margin
  • Labor
  • Research and Development
  • Inventory, Capital, and Other Expenses
  • Engine and Transmission
  • Body, Interior, Chassis, Electrical, and Other
  • AALA “Domestic Content” Score

The result based on the above factors ended with tied scores for several vehicles. Here are the 2013’s top 5 American made cars:

The First position ended with a 3 way tie and the cars are:

  • GMC Acadia
  • Buick Enclave
  • Chevrolet Traverse

The second position ended with a 2 way tie and the cars are:

  • Dodge Avenger
  • Ford F-series pickup

The car that ranked 3rd, 4th and 5th position are:

  • Chrysler 200 (3rd)
  • Jeep Compass, Jeep Patriot and Jeep Wrangler(4th)
  • Chevrolet Corvette, Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Equinox, GMC Terrain (5th)
