Carrier Auto Company vs. broker Auto Company

Generally auto transport carriers will directly deal with the customers but they rely on brokers for much of their business. Since carriers do not have a huge budget for advertisement, they mostly rely on local newspapers or word of mouth to generate revenue for their business.

Brokers deal with a large number of carriers so they can find you a carrier according to your budget and convenience. Brokers will offer you a better pricing when you deal with them then when you deal with the carriers. Auto transport brokers don't ship vehicles themselves. Brokers usually have access to a vast carrier network and can leverage this to find a truck going in the right direction with an open spot. Auto transport brokers do not insure vehicles. Auto transport carriers usually transport vehicles only on a specific route at a definite schedule.
