One of the ways of saving money is that you take the car to the terminal instead of carrier visiting your place. If the carrier visits your place to pick up the car he may charge more. Likewise, it would be better if you take the delivery of the car from the terminal instead of carrier dropping the vehicle. One more way is by booking the service well in advance. If you book before a month the carrier may charge more as many people may start booking so prices go up. Also try to ship your vehicle during off-season. The size and weight of your vehicle also determines the price. If you transport a large car it may cost more when compared to a small car. See to it that carrier has insurance for your vehicle. If any damages occur at the time of transportation then you claim from the transport company.
